Zhanna Bobrakova is a Russian visual artist. She graduated from MA Photography at Central Saint Martins in 2015. Now she is a lecturer at Contemporary art course at British high school of art and design.
Zhanna merges contemporary philosophy and art in her practice. She works across the concepts of simulation, replication and masking. She explores different mediums, such as porcelain, video and stereo effects through the photographic prism.
Her art series are exhibited in Winzavod Contemporary art centre in Moscow, Soho Fluorecent festival London, Kochi-Muzhris Biennale and Tate Modern. Zhanna's artworks are held in the State Russian Museum collection and many private collections all over the world.
